The Austrian Down Syndrome Congress which takes place every three years will be held from 24 to 26 of September in Salzburg. It is a Congress for families, specialists, but also for people with Down Syndrome.

Down Syndrome Congress in Salzburg
Everyone longs to meet the large Down syndrome community again, to learn interesting things and to ask questions to experts. We hope that many participants can experience the unique atmosphere of St. Virgil in Salzburg.
Diverse program
We have put together a diverse program. There are lectures on therapies and support for parents of babies and toddlers. We offer topics for learning and school. Also about puberty, sexual development and special behaviors. Getting older, research results, the Adult Protection Act and psychological topics round off the program. Be sure there’s something for everyone!
Workshops for adolescents and young adults
The workshops for adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome are particularly close to our hearts. A group of people with that certain extra contributed suggestions and we tried to implement their ideas. As a result, many new workshops have been created.
Hybrid lectures
So-called hybrid lectures are intended to make it possible for all interested parties in German-speaking countries to participate in the conference. A hybrid lecture will take place live in St. Virgil in front of an audience. In addition, the lecture will be transmitted by means of Zoom-Meeting.
