The name of the association is the “European Down Syndrome Association“, the acronym being “EDSA”. It is politically neutral, and non-denominational.
The registered office is : 35 Meeuws Square. 1000 Brussels
The Association shall be of unlimited duration.
EDSA was established in November 1987. EDSA’s legal base is Belgium. The statutes (bylaws) are available for download in dutch (PDF) and english (PDF).
